Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of CleanerPage (cleanerpage.com and our apps). By creating an account or booking through a CleanerPage site you agree to them. Questions: hello@cleanerpage.com.

1. What CleanerPage is

CleanerPage gives independent house cleaners (“Cleaners”) a website, online booking, photo reports, reviews and payment links. Cleaners are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. The cleaning service itself is an agreement between the Cleaner and their client. We are not a party to it and don’t guarantee any cleaning.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
• Keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You are responsible for your own licenses, insurance and taxes as a Cleaner.

3. Free trial and subscription

• New Cleaner accounts get a 30-day free trial with no card required.
• New web subscriptions are $20 per month after the trial, billed in advance unless you cancel. New annual subscriptions are currently unavailable. Existing annual subscriptions retain their existing price and billing terms. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.
• You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you don’t subscribe, your site is paused. Your data is kept so you can come back.

4. Payments between clients and Cleaners

Clients pay Cleaners directly through the methods the Cleaner chooses (for example Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, a card payment link or cash). CleanerPage does not hold, process or guarantee these payments, and is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks or disputes between clients and Cleaners.

If a Cleaner turns on card payments, clients pay through Stripe into the Cleaner’s own Stripe account, under Stripe’s terms. CleanerPage keeps a platform fee of 1% of each card payment; Stripe’s card processing fee is charged separately. Together they come to about 4% of the payment.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload (photos, texts, reviews). You give us a license to host, display, translate and send it as needed to run the service. Don’t upload anything illegal, misleading, or anything you don’t have the right to share. Cleaners must have the client’s permission before using photos of a client’s home outside the private photo report.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and come from real clients. We may remove fake, abusive or misleading reviews.

7. Acceptable use

No spam, scraping, attacks on the service, impersonation, or use for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, CleanerPage is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or anything arising from cleaning services, payments or interactions between Cleaners and clients. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if changes are significant we’ll tell you by email or in the app. You can close your account at any time by writing to us.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
